How does Padeltor work?

Everything you need to know to organize or play in a tournament.

1
Create your account

Sign up with your email. All you need is a name, an email and a password. It's free.

2
Create the tournament

From My account → Created Tournaments, click New tournament and fill in the details: name, dates, venue, available categories and how many categories each pair can choose. You can also upload a promotional poster.

Add the available courts: enter each court's name and the time slots when it's free. You can add as many courts and slots as you need; the system will use them to automatically assign a date, time and court to each match when you generate the bracket.

3
Share the registration link

Once the tournament is created, you'll have a link and a QR code you can share via WhatsApp, social media or anywhere. Pairs sign up directly from that link, no account needed.

4
Manage the registrations

You'll see all registered pairs in real time. You can approve them, reject them or wait until the registration deadline closes.

5
Invite collaborators (optional)

If several of you are organizing, you can add collaborators to the tournament from the Collaborators button on the tournament card. You only need the user's email (they must have a Padeltor account). The collaborator will get a notification and will be able to manage the tournament just like you: edit, open or close registrations, accept pairs, configure brackets and adjust times and results.

The only things only you can do are delete the tournament and add or remove other collaborators. Credits are always deducted from your account, not theirs.

6
Set up brackets per category

Once pairs are registered, open the bracket configurator from the tournament. For each category choose the format that fits best:

  • Classic qualifier: a preliminary round to adjust the number of pairs to a power of 2 (4, 8, 16…) followed by a knockout bracket. Useful with 5, 7, 9, 11… pairs.
  • Direct bracket: pure knockout with random seeding. If the number of pairs isn't a power of 2, the empty spots are filled with byes (automatic advance in the first round).
  • Group stage: round-robin groups followed by a knockout bracket with the qualifying pairs. You set the number of groups, pairs per group and how many qualify.
  • League: round-robin groups only, no final bracket. Each group's champion is decided by the group standings.

Optionally, in each category you can enable a consolation bracket: a parallel bracket where first-round losers (or pairs not qualifying from groups) get a second chance — pure knockout.

Before generating, you can click Simulate to see how many matches will be created in each category and whether they all fit in the available time slots with the configured match duration.

7
Generate the bracket

When the setup is ready, click Generate brackets. All rounds and matches are created according to the format chosen for each category, and the system automatically assigns a date, time and court to every match based on court availability, the time blocks set by the pairs and the configured match duration.

Once generated you can adjust: results, dates and times, and reassign the pairs of a specific match (remove one and add another). From the Scheduling Panel you can visually rearrange matches across courts with a single click. The only thing fixed is the format chosen for each category.

Players with the Padeltor app installed will automatically get a notification when the bracket is available, when they advance to the next round and every time you change the time of one of their matches.

8
Enter the results

As matches are played, you enter the result and the winner from the bracket. Players can see the updated status at any time by scanning the tournament QR.

9
How much does it cost?

Each tournament uses 1 credit of the corresponding type. There are three types:

  • Express — 1 day · 39,99 € 29,99 € Launch offer
  • Weekend — Friday to Sunday · 59,99 € 49,99 € Launch offer
  • Weekly — up to 2 weeks · 69,99 € 59,99 € Launch offer

You can buy credits from My account → My Credits. Players are never charged to sign up.

1
Find the tournament

The organizer will have sent you a link or QR code. You can also browse open tournaments under Upcoming tournaments in the top menu.

2
Register your pair

Fill in the form with each player's name and email. Choose the category you want to play in. If there are times when you can't play, mark them too — the organizer will take it into account. No account needed.

3
Get your confirmation

When the organizer accepts your registration, you'll receive a confirmation email at both addresses you provided. That email contains all the tournament details and a link in case you need to cancel.

4
Follow the bracket and get notifications

When the tournament starts, the organizer will publish the bracket. You'll be able to see matches, dates, times and results in real time from the same link or by scanning the QR.

If you have the Padeltor app installed and signed up with an email that has an account, you'll get automatic notifications:

  • When the bracket is published and your match is scheduled.
  • Every time you advance to the next round and your next opponents are known.
  • When the organizer changes the date or time of one of your matches.
5
Need to cancel?

If you can't play after all, use the cancellation link you received in the confirmation email. The organizer will be notified automatically. You can also cancel from My account → My registrations if you have an account.

6
Download the app

With the Padeltor app you can browse upcoming tournaments, register with your partner, follow the bracket in real time and get instant notifications when the bracket is published or your match time changes. Available for Android.
