At Padeltor we are committed to protecting our users' privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, for what purpose and how we protect it, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Spanish law.
1 Data controller
The data controller is the owner of the Padeltor platform. For any query related to your data you can contact us at: info@padeltor.com.
2 Data we collect
We collect the following data depending on the type of user:
Tournament organizers (registered users):
- Name, email address and phone.
- Password stored encrypted (SHA-256 hash).
- Registration date and account status.
Players registered in tournaments:
- Name and email of each player in the registered pair.
- ID number, only if the tournament organizer explicitly requires it.
- Selected categories and registration date.
Technical data:
- Session cookies necessary for the platform to work.
3 Purpose of processing
- Manage registration and access to the platform.
- Allow the creation and management of padel tournaments.
- Manage pair registrations and send confirmations by email.
- Generate tournament brackets and associated QR codes.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
4 Legal basis
Data processing is based on:
- Performance of a contract: for managing the account and tournaments.
- Consent: for sending communications related to the user's activity.
- Legal obligation: when required by applicable regulations.
5 Data retention
Data is kept while the account is active. When a user deletes their account, their personal data is anonymized immediately. Tournament and registration data is kept for reasons of historical integrity of the system.
6 Transfer of data to third parties
We do not transfer personal data to third parties except in the following cases:
- Stripe: payment processor. When you make a purchase, Stripe handles the payment data. Padeltor does not store card data. You can read their policy at stripe.com/es/privacy.
- Email sending: confirmation emails are sent through our own SMTP server and do not involve transferring data to third parties.
- Legal obligation: when required by applicable regulations.
7 User rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access: know what data we hold about you.
- Rectification: correct inaccurate data from your account panel.
- Erasure: delete your account and anonymize your data from the platform itself.
- Portability: receive your data in a structured format.
- Objection: object to processing in certain circumstances.

8 Changes to this policy
We reserve the right to update this policy. In the event of significant changes, registered users will be notified by email.
